Reactive Orange 4 is a dichlorotriazine (DCT) reactive dye, commonly known as a “hot brand” dye. It is designed for optimal performance when dyeing cellulosic fibres at higher temperatures (approx. 80°C), where it achieves a high degree of fixation and a stable covalent bond. It produces a reddish-orange shade and is valued for its robust performance in high-temperature exhaust dyeing and printing processes that utilize steam fixation.
